Central Stoves was established as a installation company, we pride ourselves in being able to cover most installations from start to finish. With expertise in both building and stove installations, as well as many years experience in both fields, we are more than capable of fulfilling your requirements.

Just looking for the stove...

Stove & Liner Installations

If you are satisfied with your existing fireplace, Central Stoves can supply and fit a wood burning or multi-fuel stove and liner, all stove installations will come with a HETAS certificate, so you have peace of mind that your stove is installed correctly and safely.

There are aspects to consider though, unfortunately Central stoves will not be able to install a stove, if the existing fireplace doesn't meet building, HETAS and manufacturers regulations for the stove. Also following HETAS recommendations, Central Stoves doesn't fit stoves without liners.

No chimney? That's no problem

Twinwall Installation

If your property hasn't got a chimney then the Twin wall system is perfect for you. The pre-fabricated metal chimney system can go internal or external and can be powder coated to your desired colour.

Services we offer for twin wall systems:

  • Installation of twin wall systems internal or external
  • Boxing in of chimney system in above rooms if internal
  • New Chimney breast built for stove
  • Hearth and heat shields for freestanding stoves

Fireplace Alterations

Having knowledge in both building and HETAS regulations, we can offer a range of alteration services to go with your stove installation, we offer alterations such as:

  • Knockout to original fireplace
    (cap gas and remove gas fires if needed)
  • Internal render/Brickwork/Vermiculite finishes
  • Supplying and laying of hearths
  • Plastering Works to chimney breast
  • New Chimney pots and benching
  • Installation of Beams and lintels
  • Fitting of Wooden surrounds and Stone surrounds
  • Register plates and carbon monoxide detectors

Starting from scratch?

Fireplace/ Chimney Rebuilds & Repairs

With building experience Central stoves offers a chimney buildings services including:

  • full or partial chimney builds
  • reinstating chimney stacks, i.e. rebuilding chimney stacks that have been removed below roofline
  • chimney stack extensions or rebuilds

Please note that chimney building services are usually undertaken during the summer, due to weather and time restrictions
